  • Location: This ranch is located approximately 10 miles northeast of Abilene fronting on County Road 301. County Road 152 dead ends into the property being 3.5 miles north of Highway 351. Fort Phantom Hill Lake is less than 3 miles from the property and Albany is a 20-25 minute drive.
  • Habitat: Primarily mesquite pastureland with some catclaw, lotebush, and hackberry. Habitat conducive to producing healthy populations of game.
  • Terrain: The terrain is rolling with two drainages going thru the property. There is a good site for an additional large stock tank.
  • Water: There are two existing stock tanks located on the property. One of these tanks is 3-4 surface acres when full.
  • Wildlife: Whitetail deer should be of good quality. This property backs up to a large expanse of big ranch country to the east and northeast. Turkey, quail, and dove should be plentiful as well. The large stock tanks provides good duck hunting and fishing as well.
  • Cultivation: There are two fields currently growing sunflowers to provide excellent dove hunting in September. One field is approximately 13 acres and the other field is 40 acres in size. Both fields located on the south end of the property.
  • Utilities: Electricity is provided by Big Country Electric. Rural water is supplied by Hamby Water Supply Corporation. There is a large transmission line that crosses the northwest corner of the property.
